Smooth Simple Hummus Recipe

Ready in 15 minutes

Ingredients
  • One can 425 grams (15 oz) chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans
  • 1 medium lemon (juice)
  • 1/4 cup (59 ml) Tahini
  • Half of a large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil, for serving
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon kosher salt, depending on taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons water
  • Dash of ground paprika for serving
Instructions
  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine all the ingredients and mix for 3 minutes or until the mix is smooth
  2. Serve in a bowl
  3. Add the olive oil over the top and sprinkle with paprika
  4. Serve with Nan bread, cucumber, carrots, celery, etc.
