Ingredients
- One can 425 grams (15 oz) chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans
- 1 medium lemon (juice)
- 1/4 cup (59 ml) Tahini
- Half of a large garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoons olive oil, for serving
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon kosher salt, depending on taste
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ tablespoon black pepper
- 2 to 3 tablespoons water
- Dash of ground paprika for serving
Instructions
- In the bowl of a food processor, combine all the ingredients and mix for 3 minutes or until the mix is smooth
- Serve in a bowl
- Add the olive oil over the top and sprinkle with paprika
- Serve with Nan bread, cucumber, carrots, celery, etc.
